Peanut Butter Loaf

We dare you to double the fun by adding peanut butter to a slice of this Peanut Butter Loaf that is already packed with peanut buttery goodness, that’s so yum.

Peanut Butter Loaf


1 Cup Water (luke warm)

1/2 Cup Milk (luke warm)

2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

1 1/2 Teaspoon Instant Dry Yeast

1 3/4 Cups All Purpose Flour

1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt


  1. In large mixing bowl combine water and milk

  2. Add Sugar followed by dry yeast

  3. Let this sit for about 5 minutes or until mixture is foamy or frothy

  4. When the mixture is foamy or frothy this means the yeast is good and ready

  5. Add salt

  6. Add flour one cup at a time using wooden spoon to fold ( after the 3rd cup of flour is added you may use the ball of your hands for kneading to finish making the dough, this can be done in the container or on a clean and dry work surface.

  7. When the dough is no longer sticky fold it into a ball, cover with tea towel and let it sit in a warm area for about 10-15 minutes

  8. Preheat oven 375 Degrees

  9. When the dough has risen about twice it previous size

  10. Use your knuckles to flatten the dough a bit

  11. Form the dough in the shape of a bread/ loaf and place in baking pan

  12. Cover with tea towel and let it sit for 20 -30 minutes or until the dough had risen at least 1/2 inch above the lid of baking pan

  13. Place in the oven and bake 35-40 minutes
